Note: Until January 15th, 2007, Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid had been grouped together as a category on our site, and Legislative Reform had been its own category. We decided however that Human Rights aligned more closely with Legislative Reform than it did with Humanitarian Aid, so we made Humanitarian Aid its own catergory, and combined Human Rights with Legislative Reform. Because of this change, many organizations, events and resources are still linked to Humanitarian Aid, that should actually be linked to Human Rights. Please let us know if you are aware of any such cases.
Organizations: Organizations working with Human Rights/Legislative Reform range from those actually working within government to those grass roots organizations which try to fight on the ground level against prejudice towards orphans.
Resources: Resources in this category range from explanations of the Russian legal system to guides for dealing with exploited orphans whose human rights have been abused.
